CURRENT SALARY CAP SITUATION

I have no clue what we’ll do with our 2 second round picks in terms of contracts but this would be our current salary sheep with the 2 first round picks involved.

I think there is no way Theis is on the team after free agency but who knows Carlisle likes him

Should probably include the $111 million dollar salary floor here. Still short of it

that’s a lot of money we’ve got available with 14 players on roster currently (with a few guys on CH and our second round picks to sign).

not sure anyone on the market makes sense for us to throw $30mil/year at but certainly easy for us to take on a big salary from a team while getting another asset in the process.

My read on last night’s picks is that Duarte’s time is up.

Second rounders go on two way which doesn’t count towards the cap

Thanks for sharing. These are some clean books. We will have a lot of flexibility in the coming week!

With the cap expected to rise drastically in coming years, it appears that more times will be able to compete for free agents in 2-3 years than they can now. As one of the few teams with the current cap space to compete for big name free agents, we need to take advantage of this while we can. Hope we make a splash this summer
