Celtics TRADE for Kristaps Porzingis!



#shorts my reaction to the late night three team trade sending Kristaps Porzingis to the Boston Celtics, Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies and Tyus Jones to the Washington Wizards.

    Porzingis doesn’t need to go there he need to go somewhere where a PF/C is needed

    I totally agree on your Wizards take. I'm honestly not convinced that Marcus Smart is better than Tyus Jones straight up, plus the Grizzlies gave up 2 firsts. I wonder like if the Raps would have done that trade you mentioned cause then need a pg. I will say though, the Grizz needed a grown up and Marcus Smart is that.

    As a Celtics fan i was actually so surprised we traded Marcus smart cus i was expecting Malcolm Brogdon and then i wake up and smart was gone. I felt like he was just what a celtic was and I never even factored him being traded as a possibility

    Smart will be missed but the Celtics need a real starting big man and they just got one

    I hate to loose smart but like Tatum said he will be back. Even if he’s not back tho the Celtics by far one the trade

    I’d give Memphis an A. They get a former DPOY with good numbers to pair with their current DPOY in Jaren Jackson Jr. Not to mention he can play the 1 with Ja suspended for being a dumbass. But when Ja comes back, no problem. You can move Smart to the 2, & Desmond Bane to the 3. Also, Smart has experience adjusting to not being a top 3 scoring option when dudes like Kyrie & Kemba were still draining shots for Boston. As long as they get some depth, the Grizzlies are a team to watch out for next season

    I can defiantly see Celtics fans sad of Marcus smart going to Memphis because of how much of a leader he was and the effort he put in Boston

    Even if Smarts Defense fell off last season Smarts defense is still much better than Brogdon’s defense… And Marcus is a lot more durable also …!!!!!
