If Reeves is our starting Point, Levine might make more sense than Caruso.
Unless Bamba has said to trade him (a la Bryant), why would the Lakers basically ship off the only true Center on the roster.

Trading Bamba for Caruso makes sense. We need a guy who can guard 2/3. We gotta remember if we keep Bamba or trade for Caruso here, we start flirting with that first apron at 172m.
Depending on what Russell and Rui end up costing, we could still have the TPMLE of 5ish million. Or if they come in a few million cheaper, we could actually still have the full MLE but money would get wild tight, really fast lol lots of moving parts.
Pretty sure decisions on Bamba/Beasley options have to be made by 6/29, so we’ll know very soon.

maybe they’re tryina swing Bamba for Patrick Williams, or Bamba/Beasley/Vando for Zach Lavine. It depends on if Chicago wants Bamba, didn’t really see much from him after his injury so it’s hard for me to tell but he strikes me as a less effective Vooch.
Does he though? What’s the source on this and what would they send? AC is going to require a pick. I only see this if the Bulls are saying fuck it and resetting.
Bamba for Caruso
Just a reminder for everyone, Caruso is one of the best guard defenders, a smart player, and a really clutch player. He is on a very friendly contract, and just last year, the Bulls wanted two FRPs for AC. He’s not just getting traded for a back up big that didn’t even crack our rotation last post season.

I know DeMar is old and has no defense but he is a bucket getter, so what can we realistically offer for him? I feel he’s easier to trade than Caruso. For a 1-yr gamble would D’Lo + Christie/pick work?

What sort of trade works financially and makes sense for both teams, though? I know LAL fans want Caruso, but I don’t think it works financially straight up and I also doubt CHI would part with Caruso for Bamba alone.
At this point I can’t tell if bamba’s even real or a fever dream with a soundtrack.
But do the bulls want Bamba.?
