In a sign and trade, don’t forget that part

Don’t they have a log jam at the guard spot?

  3. Ssstanimal

Orlando got a so many guards don’t think they want Fred lol

Naw, we keep Fred at a less than $25M a year and we run it back and Fred has Dick to pass to and becomes a bonafide playmaker.

    Fred will be back 🤷‍♂️

Edit: If y’all would learn how cap management works you’d all want Fred back too.

It doesn’t mean we have to keep him forever, but him outright signing elsewhere would be a disaster for the team

Makes me think that Orlando drafted Jett Howard cause they wanted Gary and his particular playstyle. Kind of insane how big of a reach he was at 11th, but Orlando scouts know their thing, so idk…

Rather keep Fred if we’re running it back, we need a PG, just gotta pray Darko can develop one of these young pgs into something decent.

Oh how I wish Fredbrick would be humbled by a 15% reduction in pay and stuck in Orlando

  9. The team is clearly running it back at this point. Losing FVV doesn’t help that process. Best case scenario at this point would be that everyone comes back and we see if a new coach who will actually run offensive schemes and Grady +/- bargain basement depth can provide enough shooting to better diversify the offense.

Losing FVV at this point leaves the team with no legitimate PG option and not having a FRP next year means we can’t easily trade for one.
