Pretty disgusting for Hornets fans to boo Miller.
Hornets added a LOT of talent. Someday they may regret not picking Scoot, but if they develop Smith, Nnaji and Bailey along w/ Miller, they'll be fine.
Fans will be cheering for Miller when he starts knocking down jumpshots, I have no doubt.

I don't know why many of yall think a 6'2 Guard will automatically make you a 40+ win team…when it won't. LaMelo and Scoot would never WORK!, no team has ever won a play-off with 2 PGs at the backcourt, and even if they did pick scoot…lamelo would be out of charlotte(Which you don't want to happen💀) since you've got his replacement up n ready. besides your tryna build around LaMelo, not replace him. He was really happy that they made this pick and was present at his work out.
I was rooting for scoot but since we have got Brandon I will support him and hope the boos he got will make him dig deep and pull out something that will turn the fan base around
Brandon Miller will be a mixed of Paul George, Ingram, and Jason. He was a point guard, Miller has ball skills. Hornets fans need to stop complaining about his age/Idiots. Back in the Day player getting drafted were 20-22. Make some trades, Hopefully playoffs next year. Don't be surprised we missed the Playoffs. 2 teams in the Eastern Conference will jump Charlotte will be Detroit and Orlando. Hornets will finish 28 to 35 wins this year.

Yeah we had a choice between a future Superstar, or draft for "fit" .. what exactly is the Charlotte hornets "fit"?? Losing and not competing for s*it? I’m a hornets fan from Arkansas. I watched Nick Smith in high school, and was a student at Arkansas last year. He is good, he is really good. He’s shown the flashes, I think with an NBA level trainer and coaches, he might become a great compliment to Melo. As for the BM or Scoot debate, if we took Scoot, we wouldn’t have taken NSJ because of fit. It’s an upside swing, but might be a grand slam if it hits

This is your fault @Doug lolol. Miller Lite on draft night for Miller and champagne for Scoot lmfaooo. And you ask for rational thinking. So now you get to capitalize on emotional distress either way. Miller will fail and you get to feel better about wanting the other guy or he does succeed and you get to feign ignorance. I just respect people who keep the same energy. Not what is happening here.
This pick was always about LaMelo Ball and the long-term relationship going forward. Scoot was a talent threat, fan favorite threat and potentially a financial threat. LaMelo has already cozyed up to Miller as a first step in establishing whose team this is. Same is so with resigning Miles Bridges. NSJ will be OK if he moves Bouknight out. Better size than Rozier and maybe more athletic. Nnaji is a bigger version of Biyombo with better hands and no free throw shot. Bet he stays in Europe this season. Amari Bailey can be a serviceable backup point guard if you can keep PJ away from his mother.
I wonder what we do with Rozier and Hayward. Also I'd love if we could sign Seth Curry.
To the Scoot stand, tell us, what does he have that is not Athleticism? Take that away, what do you have left?
He's not even the top 3 most athletic prospect in this draft. If you said he's of better character than Miller that could be a serious point made. But on the court, Miller has a better, deeper, broader skillset. Dude was indisputably the best college player.
Miller will eventually avg 25 to 28 ppg, 7 ast, 8 rpg. and Scoot will top out at 21 ppg, 7 apg, 4 rpg.
Had no problem with #2 pick. Nut I was ifgy in the #27. Kid was never invited for workout. No interviews. Had one nlown knees already. Has Bouknight vibes (tunnel bision invluded).Leonard Milker was on the board. Also, I agree eith your falling star theory. Look at Bol Bol. Bouknight. Porter jr. Etc.
