I don’t see Zach Lavine
Vince has always left me feeling conflicted. On one hand I wish I had actually witnessed him first hand, it must have been so cool for probably the most popular character in the league to be a Raptor.
On the other hand, I can’t imagine how heartbreaking the eventual break up must have been.
Vince rookie year is the first year I started watching NBA in high school. He’s actually a big reason I became a huge basketball fan. Had you jumping out of your seat at least once a game, often more. Was a great time to be a new fan. We’ll probably never have a guy as electrifying as he used to be again.
Watching Vince in his prime…. MAN…. every game there was something he did that was 10/10 jaw-dropping.
Lots of people could do a windmill jam…. but, even in game, vince did them in a way that was simultaneously lightning fast, fully extended, and insanely powerful.
Go back and watch highlights from almost any raptors game from that era.
