huffing on the copium "It's actually the cavs that lost to themselves not the knicks being a better team that beat their asses 7 out of 9 times"
The cavs felt the power of the knicks 9 starters.
Knicks clearly better team post trade line certainly – great depth and coaching – but Cavs rotations were horrible – least try Lamar in game 3 – toughest player they have to least match energy – keep Okoro starting so LeVert gives bench life – and on top – over helping on defense really sunk Cavs – can’t box out bigger player once they have position
I'm glad the Knicks kicked y'all in the head.
You people in Cleveland need to get off the drugs, the Knicks beat y'all 3-1 in the regular season and 4-1 in the playoffs and y'all should've won?
I don't know how y'all could think the Cavs are better than the Knicks when Cleveland beat them twice in NINE tries.
I'm a true Cavs fan for over 30 years plus and I know you have to be delusional to think that the Cavs should've or could've won against the Knicks. The Knicks ranked 3rd in the entire NBA in rebounding for the regular season and the Cavs ranked 24th in rebounding that was a weakness all season long defensive rebounding. Rebounding is a big part of defense because you have to close a possession with the defensive rebound. Plus the Cavs turned the ball over a lot. Look at the stats points off turnovers and points off second chance points.
Mitchell Robinson alone was a mismatch. Our bigs aren't strong just tall and lanky. Game 5 Mobley and Jarrett Allen combined for 10 points and 13 rebounds. Mitchell Robinson by himself had 13 points and 18 rebounds. Obvious the Cavs have personnel issues.
The only team the Cavs could've beat in the first round of the playoffs are the Brooklyn Nets and I'm a Cavs fan. I say this because even if the Toronto Raptors would've been our opponents in the first round I think that they would've beat us. What I noticed in the regular season was that we have a problem with athletic physical teams or players. We were out rebounded in 24 of the 31 losses in the regular season and even in some of our wins. Our starting lineup is actually small
The backcourt is tiny and the frontcourt is tall but not strong enough to rebound in traffic against physical teams or physical players. Look back at games in the regular season Allen and Mobley when they were trying to box out against physical players even if the guy was shorter they weren't strong enough to hold their position and cleanly get to the rebound. They looked like little kids trying to play one on one with a grown college player. I'm telling y'all that the issue is a personnel problem. Every team that made the playoffs would've beaten the Cavs other than maybe Atlanta definitely Brooklyn Nets. Because of the other teams bigs.
