In terms of his perimeter iso defence – they’re not wrong that it’s a weak point of his game. But it’s way better than a D+ according to the eye test. Interested to see what their methodology comes from.
Pascal is a weird archetype in that he’s kind of a small ball center on defense, but he’s a shot creating playmaker who can dribble and exploit mismatches.

Those offensive numbers are immaculate and that is so much more important for the role he’s being asked to play.

I don’t understand bballindex. They have a LEBRON stat that they sell as meaningful on their site and then put up grade cards without the stat on them.

If you watched the last season he was getting into foul trouble early on from his defense, lots of ticky tac foul calls. I think it has less to do with his ability and more so we can’t have our best offensive player getting into foul trouble early on.

If P wants to stay around for a rebuild, by all means let him.
It is definitely still doable with him on the roster, of course it may take longer. Getting another prospect would be nice but I really do trust Barnes, Gradey, Precious and company. His veteran-ship would be nice to have around anyways
We would have no identity or leadership without him
We lost many greats, even Kyle wanted to leave. Shouldn’t take him wanting to stay for granted
