Five Reasons doing a terrible job selling this 2x Finals Team for next season. Here is what they should be saying if the Heat don’t get 6’2” 32 year old Dame Lillard.
I’ll do it for them:
Heat are ready to pivot next season to be a bigger team. Playing length and size. Jovic and Cain were in the development system last season & they will be rotation players this year. Triple J was drafted as an older player to contribute right away. Those are all 6’6” plus players coming off the bench. Highsmith will see more playing time and provide much more relief for Jimmy helping to keep him fresh for the playoffs & allow Caleb to play against guards.
Herro, Duncan, & Love will be their worst defensive players and Herro will be their smallest player. With Max gone, there will be a cleaner fit when they need to lean offense with Duncan or Jovic & everyone else on the team should be lock down defenders. They’ll play point guard by committee as Gabe & Lowry were never actually getting them into offensive sets & were more relief points. They’ll be looking to shed Lowry & Oladipo salaries and get two more rotation players. They’ll be a bigger team and should have an easier time competing with the Nuggets and other big teams next season while still having a deep versatile roster.

The heat should try to get Harrison Barnes and Jakob Poetl in free agency they are now UFA's in replace for Caleb Martin if the heat will gonna include him to get Dame,,,Tyler Herro,,, Duncan Robinson and Caleb Martin plus 4 picks for Dame and Jusof Nurkic would be better package i think,,,then trade Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo for OG Anunoby!
Both dame and kyrie are good fits, dame is close to bam and jimmy is close to kyrie so the chance that one of them landing in Miami is pretty good. Kyrie being a free agent would ensure much of their team stays intact if Miami is will to pay out. I think kyrie is the more likely scenario
You dont give everything for dame. If they want a great deal. Keep it pushing. If a good deal. Then they got a deal.

You can't win with 3 players. If Portland don't take Lowry Duncan,Depo,Highsmith,Herro,2,1st round picks,and 2,2nd round picks,don't bother with this trade.
There is 95% chance dame will not be traded 3% that he will be traded to another team because they hate Miami and 2% chance he will go to the heat
I've seen this before: where LeStupid, PJ, Beal etc. and someone like Durant try to make us wait without word, and they either go elsewhere or stay at their teams. We've been burned before. I think this clown called Dame is just playing us, and are we gonna risk it when we should be talking to Lopez or Zach etc. asap instead of being held hostage until July 9?

We Ain’t Getting Dame Miami Need To Look Other Ways To Better This Team
Miami Heat should have had a back up plan to both Beal and Dame and whatever big player they go after, and at this point I'm over the Dame chase. If he wanted to leave he would have, end of story. Pivot from Dame and expand your horizons to even potential players to trade for like Zach Lavine. Trade Tyler, Oladipo and Jovic and 2-3 first round picks to get a 28 year old 25-27 ppg (PG/SG) who played 77 games this season, shoots excellent from the floor and is a triple threat scorer which we need. Find a big to play the 5 (like Omer) so Bam can move to the 4 and we could stop getting out rebounded and put more shots by getting more boards and getting more points. Move a defensive guard like Caleb to the SG to play next to Lavine and you'll have a mix of young and old talent led by Jimmy that are all signed under contract for the future without having to gut your roster cuz your giving up 3 players who you didn't even play to even make it to the finals in the first place!
