  1. While going through the roster you guys missed our new two-way and exhibition 10 -contract guys (Joey Hauser & Taevion Kinsey) and Vernon Carey Jr. has also had non-quaranteed deal with Jazz for next season for two months now.

  2. 26:07 Keeping up with the Kardashians would help Tristan Thompson handle that rabid SLC media

  3. You don't get "leadership" and "mentoring" just off the FA shelf. Just because a guy's been collecting NBA checks for a few years doesn't make him a leader.
Clarkson, whatever his failures as a PG, however unusual his scoring style is, IS committed to the team, and his effort and spirit could be valuable.

Also, Keyonte George is already almost Jordan Clarkson. PLUS also, what would the Jazz gain by saving money on Clarksons' contract??? Use it to sign a superstar free agent who will help us win a ring in 2024? We don't even have our draft pick next year unless we can lose like 50+ games. Keeping Clarkson would be perfectly rational. There's also a BOTTOM LIMIT on payroll. Past a certain point there's no need to save money. You can't save it.

You guys seem to go off on different tracks in making points sometimes.

  4. I think you can't get around the log jam of shooting or "combo" guards.
The Jazz need a Point Guard one way or the other unless THT opts in and can prove he can play winning basketball.
Keyonte George, Sexton & Clarkson all appear to be similar players.

  5. Tristan Thompson? You can't be serious. Heavens no…F. Agency should be just resign THT and JC. The only others should center around Kuzma or nothing at all. The Goal for this team should be the 2nd Rnd.

  6. Front Line Depth Chart. LM, Luka, T Hendrix @ SF. Olynyk, Hendrix @ PF. Kessler, Jones at Center

  7. I would like to see the Jazz focus on development of our younger players and pick up some bad 1 year contracts. If, by the end of the season, we were starting Kessler/ Hendricks/ Lauri/ K George/ Ochai it would be a great year.

  8. JC is great coming off the bench for playoff/championship team but he dont fit the Jazz timeline so i would let him go

  9. We need to keep one of Olynyk or Clarkson to serve as our vet presence like how Mike was (Gay isn’t that guy). I expect Hendricks to start the season behind KO, which would be great for his offensive development

  10. Give Keynote the reigns, let him develop at PG by giving him minutes. We shouldn’t be prioritizing winning now, to sacrifice for the future. Develop the guys even if it doesn’t mean win now.

  11. Also, JC hasn’t been a problem at all. He has a great attitude for a popular player, and sticking around for a small market team that gave him a chance. He isn’t a perfect player sure, but is a great example for younger guys.

  12. I think Rudy Gay has kinda settled into a mentor role. If he opts in it’s with the understanding that he’s not gonna play and be that vet.
