Jalen Pickett has a lot of similarities with Nikola Jokic. They both play at their own pace and nobody can speed them up. They both have skillsets that are hidden behind a lumbering, awkward, yet somehow also graceful way of moving around on the court. And both of their talents pop the more that you watch them.
In this breakdown, I share some of the things that I find impressive about Pickett’s game, compare and contrast him with Jokic, and highlight his skill set and tendencies.

Im starting to feel more confident about this draft❤ thanks DNVR
Will be a great Euroleague player if he doesnt make it in the NBA
Jokic's playstyle in Jamal's body. Plays bigger than his size. Always under control, too, like Monte. I can see him as THE backup PG midseason. Excited to see him constantly feed MPJ in the non-Jokic minutes and develop a 2-man game.
