I don't see a role for Ayo Dosunmu next yr. I'm rooting for him but he would have to play Caruso style of defense to remain a factor. Dalen Terry is basically the same player as Ayo only 2" taller and on a rookie contract. If the Bulls add a PG in free agency this will push Ayo further down the depth chart.
Ideally, RFA Cameron Johnson would be a gr8 addition in free agency but Brooklyn will most likely match any offer the Bulls can afford to throw at him.
Speaking of PGs. the Bulls should make a trade with Orlando for Jalen Suggs. His style of defensive hustle and playmaking ability is just what the Bulls have been missing since Lonzo Ball suffered his career ending injury. Sign and trade Ayo and Andre Drummond for Jalen Suggs? Add Cam Johnson and Jalen Suggs… The Bulls are playoff contenders again.
The key difference between the Nuggets and the Bulls is the Nuggets DRAFTED their 3 best players and they were all young when they put them together. The Bulls just took some random older guys and are trying to give older guys time that don't have time.
