I'm not buying the "going rate" thing RE: Drummond. Just because idiot MINN management overpaid Naz Reid, doesn't mean that the Bulls must now overpay Drummond. That's Minnesota's fuck-up and not the Bulls issue. Not only can Drummond walk, but I wouldn't even care if they let Vuc walk. Just because they messed up once and overpaid for him, AK should not allow his pride to influence this decision. Vuc is older, his 3pt shooting is down, and his D worse than ever, so why extend him and overpay again? There are serviceable BIGS at reasonable prices. Don't let the "double-double machine" B.S. fool you, he just ain't that good, and he is not worth re-upping with an extension.
