Timmy should have been defensive player of the year at least once in his career.

My dad was at this game, he loves telling the story of how he saw this play in real life

This is a legendary clip I wasn’t aware existed. What an awesome moment Duncan came in from like the top of the key to block that shit you know he was salty MJ got him lol.

His gait is so distinct it’s amazing. Long-time fans know.

From the current #1 player to the next #1 player.

Craziest thing to me is how well young Duncan moved– he was gliding down the court without even trying.

Damn not a single flop or physical exaggeration to bait a call.

If we could just combine that with other elements of today’s game…

Still crazy to think that with all the years the Spurs used their fiesta colors on their court, training jackets, etc, they really only had black and white jerseys until the first fiesta color on a jersey (with Derozan iirc). Spurs fiesta and the 90s never really mixed and resulted in cool ass jerseys before lol

Agreed, Tim Duncan is a defensive wizard. MJ may have met his match!

That MJ block was filthy. Duncan’s was nice too, but damn, MJ going up lefty to swat that

Can we do a summer of timmy duncan highlights?

I miss hearing Johnny Red Kerr’s voice. He was a Bulls staple like Harry Caray was for the Cubs.

  16. Vinny del negro disappeared and nobody bothered to check 🤣

Wow, I was just reminiscing on the earliest game I saw MJ play on tv and I’m pretty sure this was it.

So odd that we think of 35 year old MJ has super ancient, but LBJ was just as good as him at age 38.

But I thought Jordan only played plumbers?
