It’ll be interesting to see what other rumors come out of this meeting, especially any rumors coming from Chris Haynes. It sounds like the plan is still to do what they can to build around Dame though.

Dame should just finish his career in Portland. The NBA can make an award when he retires called the Damian Lillard Most Loyal Player Award.
Dame will either end up like Reggie Miller that stayed on 1 team and never won a chip, or ends up like Charles Barkley that hops on contending teams at the tail end of their careers and yet still cant win a chip.
