If Dame wants to play games (wait) I know he's got legit reasons to do so outside of his desire to stay in Portland, but it might be time (in the next week(s) or so)) for Miami to change the narrative and build without Dame.
At some point, one side needs to take over, and if the Heat wait too long… chances increase of their other targets falling off the board.
You're also right, no one knows what words were actually said in that meeting.
Waiting is always the hardest part.

N. Dame is not going anywhere. Miami knew that also. And just I like I said before, sleepy Pat was not going to do anything. If Miami had any interest to make a trade, they could have tried to obtain Beal. The Beal trade would have been more likely to happen. A bird in the hand Worth more than 2 in the bush. Sleepy Pat knows that very well. Why they didn't try hard to get Beal, then? Because Miami had no intention to make any trade. PERIOD.

Can we just shift our focus to Kyrie already. You know the blazer are going to get one or two mediocre players and that is going to enough to stay. Dame is afraid of change and is content to being a Portland legend. We don"t have to gut our team for an undersized 33 year old guard who is injury prone. Kyrie is cool with Bam and Jimmy and I am sure he would mind taking less money to have a better chance to win and have the ball more in his hand than in Dallas where Luka is the one dominating the ball.
I don’t think we should care if he stays, we should have a deadline, if he hasn’t made a decision we pivot. We probably only have 1 or 2 more offseasons to build around Jimmy at the peak of his powers. A week Into free agency will be too long, most good players will be gone
