Following the Washington Wizards’ No. 7 overall pick Bilal Coulibaly’s introductory press conference, the 18-year old spoke further with the local media.
First off welcome to DC! That was a bold number choice Bilal as you seem to understand! The Last person to wear the number 0 in DC was Agent Zero (Gilbert Arenas) he is our (Wizards)š so make him proud everytime you wear that jersey. Many Wizards fans feel as though the number should be retired so your going to have to earn the respect that comes with that number. I love how the new organization is working this rebuild. They know we have time and are gathering players that will grow in the team within the next 2-3 years. Redeemed the Bradley Beal trade and got our replacement for Beal with a good assortment of players who are good shooters and some defensive specialists at the point. These players who served as back ups can have motivation to expand where they couldnāt get minutes. Coulibaly has all the tools to grow and without any rush. ššš
