Since Gil ask who was he, where is he?
When the Blazers kept the pick and drafted Scoot (a player who plays the same position as Dame) it was obvious what their plans were.
They don't want the fan base to turn on them by trading Dame away if he doesn't want one and Dame doesn't want the fans to turn on him if he demands one.
It's a political game of chicken right now. What I think will happen is the Blazers will hold a joint press conference alongside Dame to announce that they are jointly agreeing to part ways like the Oilers did with Gretzky back in 88'.
That way everybody can walk away with their hands clean and not accept blame and hopefully avoid the wrath of Portland, Oregon.
The Bucks should try and get him.

Dame is a good player but has there ever been a player who has been coddled, propped up like dame? As good as he is he's never led his team anywhere! 1 conference championship appearance thats it, and these analyst talk about him like he's in the Convo for best player of an Era! HE AINT, HES not top 7-8 of this past decade and if any other player lost consistently like dame does but was out here worrying about rapping OMG they would shred him! He will be 33 with a no trade clause it will be basically be a salary dump. Lillard is actually a coward cause players like Dwight Howard & AD didn't waste no time and ask for a trade.
