[Kaskey-Blomain] There’s a good chance that Jalen McDaniels is going to get larger outside offers that the Sixers aren’t willing/able to match.

    Bravo, Morey.

I thought Thybulle sucked and wanted him gone for a while, but if you don’t/can’t even retain the guy you traded him AND the 34th pick for, what the fuck was the point?

Matisse was going to walk anyway. The goal of Morey was try to maximize depth for last year to give this team a chance. The problem was/still is, you have a guy by the name of Tobias Harris who eats all the cap and sticks out like a sore thumb preventing us to get cutters, 3&d players, and a backup big who can stretch the floor.

  3. Ronshol

This would easily be Morey’s biggest fuck up as GM if McDaniels walks.

If he walks than we’re almost certainly going to have to keep Tobi too.

    everything is conjecture right now

  5. Safe_Employ_8015

Also, why is it always on Morey? Elton Brand is the guy we should be more furious at for getting the team in this fucking mess.

  6. HoagieTwoFace

It’s time to admit Morey is washed

This is why we have to (and will) trade Tobias.

We need to free up *some* space under the second apron so that we can re-sign our guys while retaining the taxpayer MLE

  8. lil_extro_vert_

Perhaps, but Mike K B also knows literally zero lol

Signed DeAndre Jordan. Cut Isaiah Joe. Signed Harrell. Signed Dedmon. Traded a great wing defender and high 2nd rnd pick for McDaniels (I was fine with it). Coach refuses to play McDaniels. Let McDaniels walk? Is Morey even paying attention? I’m not trying to be funny. What the heck is Morey doing exactly?

Thybulle and the 34th pick in this years draft (which is a strong draft class)…

Morey better find a way to get McDaniels back, he wasted too much for so little

What other teams are interested? Really wanted to retain him.

  12. mrHartnabrig

For one, of course other teams would offer McDaniels more than the Sixers can give him. The Sixers are cash strapped and most teams are willing to overpay.

But this is another captain obvious take from Philly media.

Would love to go into a season with a legit wing rotation. McDaniels should be part of it

I feel like people are forgetting we got two 2nds back in that trade, 2024 from Charlotte and 2029 from Portland, both of which will be good. Also, at least at the time of the trade, Matisse had zero future here. Now Matisse probably would fit very well with Nurse, but there was no way of predicting how it was all going to play out.

Yall screaming about a tweet that has no validity. This sub has gone downhill.

There’s a good chance. Sixers are going to stink

Can’t wait to watch everyone come to Morey’s defense if he walks.

I liked the McDaniels trade. Maybe he makes a bigger impact with another year and starts the season with the team. But is he really worth that much money that the Sixers can’t match or choose not to?

  19. Myrese_Taxey

I’d like to keep him but wow u guys are overrating him so much. Just because his brother is good, doesn’t mean he is.

  20. SwissKver

Day 5 million of make a dude sad as shit with these damn updates.

  21. dalichtenstein

Should match all offers. He’s a good developmental player. Need those to make trades and backup for injuries.

  22. TIandCAS

When McDaniels averages 12 points on mid efficiency on a non playoff team while Morey signs the trash man for 2 mil, I know this sub is going to explode with rage

  23. Nid0k1ng

Great, not like we needed a young athletic wing anyway…
