There’s enough smoke on this that it’s true.

  2. APOLLO_EiGhT

Get rid of him, it’s all drama around him. He wants the ball then complains. Just get him off my team

  3. UjiriWatcher

OG being unhappy and leaving next offseason because you decided to double down on this mid core and pay Fred 30 mill a year

  4. Where can OG be second option for example?

  5. cbotter

I can see where he would be mad but it’s like this team is sometimes confused on what their role should be. OG can’t dribble so he needs to basically catch and shoot 90% of the time.

  6. CazOnReddit

It’s moreso, from what I saw, that only Barnes ever seems to involve him on offense on a consistent basis which is understandably frustrating

  7. yantraman

I get why OG would think so, but seriously, he didn’t take the opportunities that he was given. He had multiple opportunities with Pascal’s injury. Him and Fred should have ideally handled it.

so dumb doubling down on this mid core smh.

  9. IamSofakingRAW

Ppl commenting need to realize touches include him having mismatches downlow under the basket or fast break looks where Fred pulls up for his patented 40 Ft brick and doesn’t pass when he’s running hard and filling the lane

I don’t think OG is looking for 15 isos per game

So now Jake Fischer can read OG’s mind. Remember this is the guy last summer who was beating his drum like a fool saying that the Raps were hopping Siakam that he finally had to publish one with a disclaimer saying its probably not tru! What a tool! This is Fisher trying to please his West Coast player sources,(Dramond Green and/or Damien Lillard). Reading between the lines it could mean the Blazers are getting desparate and about to cave in to MUBDub’s exhorbitant demands.

Fred at one point was a fantastic trade asset and now we are cutting our losses because we don’t want to pay him 30 mil (and rightfully so). Same is going to happen to OG if we don’t make a deal for him.

  12. GtotheE

It would be a big change from the big smile we’re accustomed to seeing on his face.

  13. NinfthWonder

OG should learn to dribble a fucking basketball.

  14. klobucharzard

thats weird hes usually super smiley and emotive

  15. flow2ebb2flow

When has O.G. ever had a huge smile on his face? Man clearly does not know anything about O.G.

  16. Ylissian

OG is gonna be 26 with no handle, no court vision, can’t get to the line, can’t shoot off the dribble. I’m really not trying to hear this offensive role shit anymore man

  17. Eclectic_Canadian

It seems like we’ve repeated a single rumour about some vague complaint OG had about his role so much that it’s grown into this thing of its own.

Did anything come out last year during the season that OG was upset? No. OG just got named to an all-NBA defensive team. Everyone in the league is aware of his limitations offensively. I have no problem giving him some opportunities to have the ball in his hands in areas where he can be successful (mismatches, low post, attacking from the corner off pump fakes) but there’s not a single non-lottery team in the league which would make him their 2nd option offensively.

Taking on a bigger offensive role is just going to hurt his defence, where he makes the biggest impact.

OG as a 4th offensive option is absolutely fair. We don’t need to ice him out and ignore a desire for him to improve with the ball in his hands, but the idea that we need him to be a 2nd option because he wants to is batshit crazy

  18. hypespud

Just another reason to give up Fred

He is way too ball dominant and seriously takes away touches from everyone else

If we get into a situation of keeping Fred and losing OG I’m going to lose my shit 🤣

  19. BeefySwan

Banana? There’s a Gradey Dick joke in here somewhere…

  20. djexplosive

To use the word Banana with its racist undertones is wild

  21. ImmaFunGuy

Maybe if he can actually dribble the basketball like a 2nd option, he’d be one

  22. Can we stop talking about Jake Fischer reports?

  23. midnightmunchiez

I honestly find it hard to believe that OG is that delusional to think he could be the number one option on any team. I get wanting to have a bigger role but he should look for that role on the defensive side and aim for DPOY every year instead of trying to score 20.

  24. KinkyTOGuy91

Masai could give less of a fuck about fit.

  25. whenveganscheat

I wonder how Aaron Gordon feels about being the 3rd option on the nugs

  26. lunchboxfriendly

Perfect 4th banana on a championship squad. By that’s not the raps. I wouldn’t want that if I were him either.

  27. Big_Albatross_3050

he might be the 4th option, but he’d also see more touches than his last couple seasons under Darko’s potential system assuming it’s similar to the Grizzlies system.

Even if OG became the 2nd option, if it was still Nurse’s system with FVV iso, he might still feel he’s not getting enough touches.
