Grant’s addition didn’t work even before the shutdown because the team needs strengthened in the front court, he’s a poor substitute for a PF/C. What does that say about him when he’s not played at SF, which is what he is built like?
Grant is not a staring caliber player in the NBA he's too much of a tweener.

If the Blazers have Grant’s Bird rights, then use it by signing him AFTER maxing out the salary slots with FA signings and trades, that will get Dame real help. When Grant gets his highest league value bid, offer more.
Blazers really need to call Chicago and unlock those future picks cause if they don’t they aren’t willing to do what needs to be done to go all in on Dame and try to keep Scoot, empty the cupboard and make the damn big trade happen already. Jody/ownership is the biggest hinderance to being competitive or getting to the competitive tier.

Good God, 5 yrs/148 mil for Jerami Grant?!?!?!?!?!? No way…no freaking way. Just let the guy walk, that contract will be an anchor tied around your neck within 2 years. It will be way worse than the Powell signing which turned into a bad contract they had to salary dump less than a year later.
Should have made some sort of move for Pascal Siakam to pair with Dame. He's literally ten times better than Grant
