I have no idea what this means since its the only sourced part of the article. The only two unsourced “big swing” possibilities referenced in the article are Keldon Johnson and Wendell Carter Jr.

  2. If this is true and he didn’t pay to keep Smart over Brogdon, he needs to be cooking something.

Nobody B Robb listed in that article moves the needle, and is currently better than Brogdon btw

If you move Brogdon you need a PG in return

I really like that Wendell idea a lot.

Edit: Well, him on the team…idk if that payments is an overpay or not

Brad Stevens and cautious with draft assets are two things that do not go together

Is Wendell Carter really an option? He is on a fantastic contract and is super-productive. If we’re turning Brogdon and Rob into other pieces, I’d be happy if one of them was Carter

I love WCJ as an Al Horford replacement, and his contract is a steal – BUT a lot of people here are ignoring the fact WCJ is as injury prone as they come, in the past 5 seasons, he’s averaged 52 games played.

And even then, why would the Magic want our late FRP’s?

Wendell is great but if you move Brogdon you’d need to get a point guard back from Orlando too or your guard depth would be cooked

What if Minnesota is freaking out about their 2024-25 cap sheet, and we overpay in draft capital for Jaden McDaniels? A year from now they’ll owe KAT and Gobert $96M, and Ant will get at least the max, maybe the supermax if he makes All-NBA. And then Jaden McDaniels will be an RFA, and they don’t have a PG under contract.

Imagine how much in shambles the east or Heat who have some weird obsession with us would be in if we got WCJ?!?! Lmao

Eh, respectfully, this article is kind of a braindead mash up. I could see Brad going for Trent although he is worse on D than people think or i could see a 2 for 1 with those Nets wings. Get two rotation wings for a 1st and Brogdon. Thing is the playmaking would then be solely on White and Tatum. Maybe Rob (but JoeMa never utilized this like Ime) and maybe Porzingis in the post.

while I’ll take BRobb at his word that the Celtics will be more aggressive with trades, I doubt Brad is going to be aggressive for names not on this list…. We dont hear about guys Brad is after until deals are close
