Problem is they do not have a floor General to distribute the ball. Without ball contributor not going to be champions. They need a Chris Paul or a Draymond.
The idea of Porzingis is always much much much better than the reality of Porzingis.
In 1920 wow he's old
White and Brogdon are already enough to fill in the point guard role. This was a good move if Brogdon stays healthy.
Nah the Celtics just need a true point guard
interesting to see Jokic so high on the turnover % list for PnR ball handlers. A video about that would be interesting
Coach called it years agođ
coach been waiting to make this video for some time
Porzingis might look good on paper, but he won't fit in the locker room, and this bad chemistry will sink the Cs.
So, you're saying, he's ass.
The emotional attachment that fans had with Smart is the only thing that is making the trade hard to digest, because everybody knows that Porzingis fits much better.
His frailty and the sustainability of the productivity that he had last season are still concerns though.
Also, I understand that the DW, Brogdon, JB, JT and KP lineup would be very potent on offense, but Iâd rather see a balanced approach with Robert Williams instead of Brogdon. Although the offensive output would be lower, the defense should be dominant and generate more transition opportunities, while the offense should still be top 10 in its own right.
Hopefully everybody stays healthy and it still remains to be seen who theyâll keep between Brogdon and Grant Williams.
Perfect example of Dunning Kruger
Hopefully, he doesn't get injured getting ready for/playing in FIBA, like Gallinari.
Lol how you try to paint this picture the Celtics got rid of a player they originally wasnât trying to trade anyway.
2mins in and Smart is a poor mans Draymond. Imagine if the Celtics swapped Smart for Draymond. I wonder how many rings they would have.
Smart reveals how marvelous JOKIC is since he fails where Jokic succeeds. Reminding us how hard it is to do what Jokic so casually does.
Interesting observations on Smartâs passing woes. Iâve never seen such a streaky passer before. A lot of Celtics fans fail to realize how much this impacted the teams overall identity and continuity on offense. On any given night his passing/playmaking could be anywhere between Trae Young and Pat Beverly
Tatum two first team all-nba selections came at the SF. The Celtics went to the NBA Finals with him at SF & were the #1 offense that year.
2020 was a completely different team, coach, and system thereâs so much context youâre leaving out.
what happened to yam madar?
kristaps on the bench smoking bench players that will be hectic they need another guard
Love the analysis coach! Especially the subtle details like zooming in on his eye position on that lob .
Those Marcus Smart clips were beyond disingenuous lmaoo why do think the return was two 1st round picks? Cause of his turnovers?
If brad donât have d white he doesnât move smart itâs as simple as that d white gives u what smart does but better …. better shot selection more unselfish and keeps a cool head always for anybody questiong heâs defense he just made a all nba defensive team he led the league in blocked shots for small guards u can argue he was there best 3rd player last year
You know, i bet pingus would be great in a mavs uniform
coach this one broke my heart
"YEAH Trading for Porzingis was a good choice, KP is pretty good… but the real benefit to the Celtics is getting rid of that loser!" – Coach in a whole video
I really doubt Tatum was that good in 1920 =P
Not a big Celtics fan but this move makes total sense
6:55 wtf????
History does love repeating itself lol. Smart and Tony Allen are in the same scenarios. Memphis got another grit and grind guy!
Warriors should've gone for someone like KP not chris paul
How does the effect the warriors chance to win the finals???
i think its time for Celtics to let go of Brown
marcus smarts plays as if he is a 2nd or 1st option when that just isnt his skill set.
6:55 "in 1920"
Uhhhh
how?lack of defense in their line up bro
I thought of coach first when this trade was made đ he canât stand smart
