Chicago can I ask one question?

    Why?

Edit: nothing against the player. The contract is good. Just why to Chicago staying stuck where they are for no apparent reason. Should have traded him last year.

That’s a fair moveable contract, gg to both parties

    LOVE IT

Vuc has been slandered so much he’s underrated now. 82 games, double double machine. Not a lot of guys can do that

  4. Currymvp2

I think that’s a relatively team friendly contract

  5. jakesnader

pretty solid deal, not too much of an overpay like i expected

  6. slysonic7

I like Vuc a lot but keeping all of the 3 together for a run at a 9 seed is a rough outlook

I’m fine with this. For the production and consistency he brings, this is actually a pretty good deal, don’t really want to lose him for nothing, and he wasn’t really a huge part of our issues last season.

  8. Wzzz524

Don’t like how he plays but this is a solid deal

Good deal. Vuc is about as steady and reliable as you can get. The Bulls still won’t get anywhere far but that’s not really on him. He’s done what he needs to do as a 3rd option, which is provide efficient scoring and rebounding, and even a little bit of solid passing.

These types of contracts are still surreal to me, cuz I feel like they would be considered historic overpays like 10-15 years ago.

Thank goodness, I was afraid the Rockets were gonna do something stupid

  12. xDeejayx

If Vuc is getting 20 then Brook Lopez deserves 25 at least

  13. Next-Firefighter-753

The Bulls are now the new Wizards

  14. DorkandPoon

That’s a decent contract and it should be easy to trade if CHI decides to rebuild

  15. TheRealTofuey

I mean, 20 milliona year isn’t awful. They really don’t have a choice anyways.

I actually love this signing. Obviously our top three pairing hasn’t worked out like we wanted, but they have showed glimpses. I don’t expect anything to really come out of them, but they brought back excitement to Chicago basketball for at least half a year after years of struggles.

Vuc has been a way above average player in the league and this contract (in my eyes) is great.

Great contract for when the bulls finally comit to a re build.

  18. Klaas_Huntelaar

    Contract is actually pretty good

  19. I’m telling y’all Bulls are a dangerous play-in team. We are building something special over here don’t sleep.

All of those people saying that the Bulls will stay average don’t understand basketball.

Vuc shoots the three and defends reasonably well. He’s a walking double double. You need a guy like him on a championship team.

The bulls might well stay average, but not because they’re keeping Vuc.

In the 2021-2022 season Vucevic averaged **17.6pts, 11.0 rebs (9.1 def, 1.9 off), 3.2 assts.**

In 2022-2023 he also averaged the **exact same** **17.6pts, 11.0 rebs (9.1 def, 1.9 off), 3.2 assts.**

    That’s wild.

He played 9 more games (a full 82) versus 73 last year. He also improved his shooting percentage at all three levels (2FG%, 3%, FT%).

[Edit: corrected the years , per below]

  22. Dimaaaa

That’s a bargain for a player like Vuč

  23. Acrobatic_Knee_7663

Looks like they’re playing chess while the rest of us are struggling with checkers! Well done, Bulls!

  24. Bidet_Owner

Smart move. The Bulls should only concentrate on signing bigs and wings, any PG that signs with the Bulls is bound to have their career cut tragically short by injury.

  25. cityboynate21

Bro why blow this shit up the furthest we getting is the play in again or a first round sweep max

  26. holyrooster_

No team works at hard to get where the want to be as the Bulls. Sure, most teams want a Chip. The Bulls want the 8 seed. But just like many teams, they often fall short, there can only be one 8 seed per conference.

  27. BanUrzasTower

Eh I’m going to go against the grain here, cuz I kind of hate this move. Vooch is not a winning player imo.
