Found this video on YouTube, and this guy does a great job at breaking down B Milly’s game, both the positives (such as shot creation and shooting) and the negatives (finishing and playmaking).
If you’re still down on Brandon, give it a watch, because it’s made me even more hyped about the pick.
It’s Miller Time!

Second this breakdown. We have ALOT to be excited about here.
It’s a really balanced a nice breakdown. I think gordon could be a great guy to help him handle more offensive skills
could also be the next Reggie Miller
It’s a shooters league.. that’s what we got.
Don’t get me wrong you probably coulda picked Scoot here, but anyone who is saying Miller cannot dribble is quite literally lying or didn’t watch the game. He has a functional bag of dribble moves that create seperation into his pull up game like L/R cross, hang dribbles (SAME MOVE LAMELO DOES) and is awesome at using his handle to reject screens to get into his pull up. If you watch his 36 point game vs Gonzaga you can really see how despite not being known for being athletic (this is also a lie, he is a very good athlete in terms speed, stride length and fluidity, he just doesn’t elevate that high in traffic.), he gets WHEREVER he wants on the court because of his pace. Knowing how to play basketball is important over having raw athleticism
Prime PG was an explosive athlete, and Brandon is nowhere near in that mold right? IMO the better comp would be Ingram
Also playmaking isn’t a negative for Miller at all, he is a natural passer and makes ambitious reads in transition, you can see it just by the way he plays. He doesn’t have tunnel vision

This dude is so good. Once the fans realize what he is they will love this pick. His upside is higher than Scoot.
Let’s go Brandon!
The comp I love is Peja. Or the forbidden comp on offense which is sharpshooting nic batum
Some Glen Rice attributes, I feel.
Scoot stans still in shamble after all the evidence
He needs to improve his finishing at the rim to become a good scorer. 39% in college seems concerning. He’s also kicking out his leg while shooting. You don’t want another guy with a sprained ankle.
Wasn’t my choice but the more I’ve processed the decision the more it makes sense. Real Hornets fans will be cheering Miller on from day one. I’m excited for this season! I liked the draft, overall
I hope this ages well.
