I’d be fine with almost anyone here except for Rui because I don’t want to be the team that dramatically overpays a guy based on what they did over a tiny sample size in the playoffs instead of what they’ve done throughout the rest of their career.
Very low chances we bring in any of those RFA guys without a sign and trade, and we won’t pay the money Grant is looking for. And Kuzma won’t come to Indiana, he wants to live in a big market even if we paid the most.
That leave Harrison Barnes on this list lol
I like everyone except RUI, and Kuzma is a maybe. Just really depends on contract structure there.
He’s actually a good defensive player who fits so well into the 4 spot for us
Cam Johnson is the only one I’d do, maybe Barnes. For the prices listed, that is. Paying a true PF like Kuzma a ton makes no sense. Paying a guy less than $19.5 million a year is pointless because we still are at the floor. So Cam Johnson, being a hybrid 3/4 who won’t keep Jarace out of the lineup, is nice. And he gets us to the floor which is obviously what we will be doing.
Cam Johnson is the best option here. Prying a 26 year old SF from his team that’s already in the luxury tax seems like the way to go. I wouldn’t be mad at a 4 year deal worth 20-22 Mil a year.
