I never felt like he was impacting the game as much as his numbers suggested. That’s my best explanation. His numbers won’t be easy to replace I suppose.
The flip side, for me, was Dennis Smith Jr. His numbers never seemed to show the impact I felt he was having.

I’ll definitely remember his time here favorably – came in with low expectations but was a fun player to watch, meshed well with the team and won us some games. I think the fact that we had him on such a team friendly contract and mostly brought him off the bench made it a lot easier to stomach some of his flaws though, like if we re-signed him longterm I think the fanbase would sour on him pretty quickly.

Kelly was fun to watch man, I like how he changed his game up last season and was attacking the rim a lot more. Obviously frustrating at times too but ill miss him if he goes. Dude seemed to enjoy playing for the hornets.
