This is Kyrie's camp spreading rumors in order for the Mavs to offer good money. Since the league knows that the only market for KI is the Lakers and the Mavs, the Mavs can actually offer KI the vet's minimum. KI knows this and if he doesnt accept the Mavs' offer or be offered by the Lakers, he most likely wont play in the NBA this season.

The Mavs should only offer Kyrie the veteran minimum. There's no true market for Kyrie. Mavs shoukd spend more on at least 2 more really good rotational players.
If Kyrie wants to leave, let him. Mavs need players on the same goal w/c is to get a chance to compete for a title. Harden and Kyrie want fat new contracts to secure their after NBA life.
