Hey Trevor…it wasn't all that long ago that the Lakers had Brook on the team…..I recall him not making much of an impact with the team back then…did he last a whole season?….I recall that it was a short and unmemorable stint…what happened?…why was he let go?…or why did he leave?…obviously he moved on to greener pastures.

If you have a chance to bring in big Lopez, at a affordable price, you do it. Walker & Vanderbilt already provide similar skills to what Brown does, plus the team will need a productive, defensive big to deal with Jokic, Ayton, KAT, & other effect centers, while thus would allow AD to terrorize the other PFs
The Lakers need a rim protecting center but I am worried that it won't happen because the center market is really bad. Brooke Lopez is not coming here the Lakers are going to be in trouble.

It’s no secret the Lakers were in love with Lively, this allows them to get their main target from the draft. The 2 extra mill in cap space allows them to offer 19 mill per year for Brook rather than 17. They then sign both Brown and Lopez. They tell Lebron in return for getting him Kyrie they must accept they are keeping both the Mavs pick and their 2029 pick until the summer. Next summer they would have 4 first round picks along with Lively, Lewis and Christie to trade for a superstar. The 24/25 pick (depending which one the Pelicans want), Mavs 2027 pick. This 2029 and 2031 picks..
