Having Harden and Tobias to fiddle around with will give Morey some serious options to toy with. Actually cool of Harden to opt in.

This is the last scapegoat for Embiid. If they have another 2nd round exit, who are we going to blame then? Maxey? Paul Reed? So many fans are making this seem like this will push us over the hump. Our "MVP" is still here and he's still a playoff choke artist.
Morey had the chance trade for Haliburton, heild, n two 1st rounders. Instead gave up assets for guy left two teams. I told yall why trade for guy thats not loyal n never plays well key opportunities. Now bk square one. Glad he gone but Morey geesh why risked the franchise for Harden!!! Lol

This is the best case scenario. Leaving for no compensation or getting a bloated overpay from phila would've been terrible. Imagine the lowball signaling he got from sixers (and lack of interest from Houston) that would cause him to opt in and ask for a trade. The he might go to Houston leverage ploy flopped so hard and now so butthurt as to ask out. 😂

The winner of the Nets / Philly trade has yet to be determined. If Simmons is over his mental hurdles, plays for his national team this summer, is healthy and actually plays for the Nets next season the Nets will be Satisfied. If the Sixers salvage the Harden situation and get starter quality players and bench depth from a trade the Sixers will be Satisfied. Time will tell!

It's seems everybody blaming everyone else for yrs accept Embiid. It's been Embiid health or bad play or even his mental lapses in the second round. Think about it you can't count on Embiid to win you 2 games in the playoffs in the later rounds. It's Embiid trade Embiid to Portland get 2 players and draft picks
He's not forcing a trade. They have to stop making up the narrative. This wasn't a force, it was a mutual agreement. Which is best because now the Sixers have an opportunity to get some assets back if not a known #2 guy or some role players.
How could both teams lose a trade, it’s either one wins and one losses. Get out of your feelings because he wants to be traded, Ben Simmons Did not play 2 yrs of Ball. Harden Did play and was good during regular seasons.

Harden had a track record of coming up short, he was an older player that Morey decided to go after. So, if Haliburton was actually on the table, then I say the Harden trade was a bad trade. Morey is proving that he's overrated. I hope he proves me wrong, though.
