It’s just Klutch trying to get more money…

Yeah not like we can’t just match any offer or anything…. Plus we all know miles would likely want to stay

I mean if we are interested in keeping him, why would we ever pull the restricted tag?

These “reports” are so irritating. Either another team comes forward and makes him a better offer, or he takes the qualifying offer from the Hornets. Or he retires. Seems pretty straightforward to me. We don’t know how much Miles is going to be able to get and we don’t know if any other team will be interested at all but that is the normal state of things??? Sure the Hornets could pull their offer but why would they do that if they can get him for cheap? I just wish these guys would stick to actual reporting instead of cryptic rumor mongering nonsense.

Doesnt seem congruent with Miles posting pics of him in hornets gear every day.

There’s literally no reason whatsoever for the Hornets to do that.

This makes no sense. This is definitely Klutch/Bridges camp trying to get leverage. On top of him being a RFA We have his bird rights so we can offer him the MOST money.

Jake is one of the most inaccurate reporters because he just reports any rumors (usually dated) for clicks without vetting or waiting.

Yeah develop him for 4 seasons and just let him go for nothing in return because Clutch asked nicely !!!

Fischer throws out everything that comes his way

How is there not a straightforward path when Miles is restricted lmao

So tried of klutch(an NBA players agency) conflict of interest

I mean all you gotta do is go fetch a contract if you a good agent and if the hornets wanna match they will if not they’ll work some em. Do ya job agent!

Ish pisses me off tho as fans and the hornets clearly some of us stuck by him during that dark time no loyalty at all from these players especially agents.

I’m all for you getting the best deal for you but doesn’t change that we drafted you and we shouldn’t lose you for nothing if you wanna go then go but we not letting you go for nothing and shouldn’t

He says that we don’t have a straightforward path and then doesn’t explain what that means

yeah everyone knew Klutch is going to try and pull some bullshit, Miles has no basis asking for any kind of favors and we have no reason to listen to them. take the offer, or go sign a contract, or play out your QO and good luck next year. We just drafted your replacement.
