And ESPN is in for a rude awakening. Once the Nuggets win the championship this year, the Nuggets will rule the league for the next 5 years. Jokic, Murray, porter and Gordon are all in their prime. If mgt will be able to hold on to this core, Nuggets can win 2 to 3 titles and Jokic will win 1 more MVP

You're wrong about them being the least respected finals team. The 2004 Pistons were by far (and it's not close) least respected Finals team going up against the Shaq, Kobe, Karl Malone, Gary Payton Lakers
At one point does the team that everyone is calling “underrated” and “slept-on” and “ignored” actually make them not? It’s just talking heads like KPerk who just say contradictory things for views who aren’t acknowledging the nuggets greatness at this point.

I think it's because of the pre-existing bais against Jokic and the fact that many people just want big brand names like "Lakers" or "Celtics" in the finals which is just stupid. And if there's to be an underdog story people would want a declining team that was once good and now they're coming back, many people don't really want the teams that have never been "there" before to be there and do something. And the last reason is the name😂 you gotta say it's a bad name the "Nuggets". But at the end they're here and they're gonna win.

Obligatory "not a Nuggets fan" disclaimer, but even I am astounded by how much Jokic gets (ahem) dunked on by sports media personalities. Honestly, if Jokic was born 5 or 10 years ago, he would be the talk of the town in the same veins as Nowitzki or fellow Serbian players Peja Stojakovic or Vlade Divac. Considering how some of these "identity politics" types have infiltrated the media, and how these people see fair-skinned men as the Devil incarnate, it's not that difficult to put two and two together.
I think the Rockets in 95 had more disrespect than the 81 Rockets. But the 81 Rockets did make that year's finals interesting despite losing in six.
I think the Denver Nuggets were the equivalent to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017. #1 Seed, but no respect. I think it just comes to show that you can pick against the Nuggets as long as you show them respect.
