I’ve always said it…for the contract amount and length, these are good contracts. Even the ones people somewhat hate (like RJ’s). Rj, being a 20ppg scorer is completely worth a mid-tier contract like this.
And that’s something people need to understand. These are **Mid-tier** contracts.
Brunson has is at 4yr/$104 with incentives to get to $110. Randle has it at 4yr/$106 with incentives to get to $117. RJ has it at 4yr/$107 with incentives to get to $120.
Even with many of the incentives, these contracts are STEALS for their production.
Yes, we’re still missing that #1 and RJ needs to be more consistent…but you’re not gonna tell me that Randle isn’t worth that $115 million or that RJ isn’t worth that $110 million…and we all know Brunson is now a $180 million contract that is only getting paid $110 at max.
