As a rockets fan we all know signing Fred to that deal is an overpay but it’s a deal we had to do. We needed that veteran player especially at point guard to help mentor and help our young guys on how to play the right way.
With FVV he going to help Jalen Jabari Sengun Tari and even Amen get to their spots on offense and defense and with FVV our defense improved as well.
All in all this was a nice signing for us and we gotten better as a team now got to see what happens with Lopez and Dillion Brooks

Fred VanVleet – a decent but inconsistent PG who's pretty far from being even a regular all-star player, paid 43 million a year
