Media hates the Knicks. Haven’t heard a peep about criticism on Johnson’s contract.

Cam Johnson is such a weird player. Obviously he had CP3/Booker/Ayton/Bridges on his team so he never had to play the lead.
Really just took his open 3s and did it competently.
He could hustle and help out on other end, but he’s not really a good playmaker or rebounder. He’s a role player who can knock down 3s.
Nets aren’t really in the position to give who is a bench player for 75% of his career that type of money. They also couldn’t afford to lose him either. I think the money tied up w Simmons and Cam is going to keep them anchored at a play-in team next couple of years while they don’t have control over their picks anymore.

We’ll see role players getting 35mill a year in our lifetimes, guaranteed. Nonsensical stuff.

Today I learned Cam Johnson is older than Brunson. Felt like Cam was much younger, but 4 season of college ball will do that.

Doesn’t really matter. He hit a game winner on us back in 2022.

What’s the comparison for? We gotta stop compare out stars to some bum ass franchise. The hell you all keep talking about the Nets for? My fucking autocorrect on my new phone doesn’t even have them capitalized by default (it has the Knicks and Mets, just saying). Stop comparing anything of ours to them.

brunson signed for 21% of the cap, johson for signed for 20% of the cap…
absolute numbers are irrelevant, only percentage of cap matters
