Reeves. Gotta make the Lakers burn the money. But they have to make sure that they make all their moves first. Lakers say they are going to wait last minute to match to hold up the other teams cap space.

I would take Westbrook, Reeves and Bamba

Dosunmu I’ve heard is getable cheaper than you would expect for a restricted free agent

Chicago is right up against being a taxpayer, which is not really something they can afford. Given the quality of that roster. He’d be a real good one. Two punch with Jones. Good defender. Smart low maintenance. Playmaker. Not a good shooter but he has some positional height.

Brook Lopez is the dream but I would be solidly happy with plumlee on a 2-year contract. He’s underrated and is kind of exactly the type of player who would be a good backup on this Spurs team.

Probably would be the best big man passer San Antonio has had since Boris diao and him and Collins would keep the offense moving regardless of who’s out there

With the Cedi trade I think our roster is full but unless I mistaken I think we can still add players as long as we trim it down before, or is it after, training camp.

Plumlee the most likely, i hope we try to get Ayo

be hilarious if we grabbed Russ, Pat Bev and Dillon Brooks

I’m talking myself into Reaves more and more – I really like his game. If the Lakers end up matching so be it, he’ll have gotten a hell of a payday.

Grant Williams, start him as a small 5. He mans up against the other teams’ post on defense and he stretches the court on offense. Is more switchable than most PF/C, but mostly can’t guard quick wings.

Donte DiVencenzo is a good help/team defender and elite shooter.

Miles Bridges is an excellent all-around SF/PF but pled guilty to felony domestic violence a year ago.

Lopez is a great rim protector/shooter, but is 35.

  8. Plumlee or Wood for the “big” signees. Realistically I’d be happy with mamu and a vet guard to mentor like a George hill type. Though honestly they might be cool with devonte. I’m a big fan of finding out what you have first and not rocking the boat. Gotta get to that salary floor though.

I actually like Dante D. For one he’s a good system player who plays good defense. If he can get real minutes for the warriors I could see him being a good rotation vet guard.

Also if I recall correctly Pop really liked him the year of his draft.

That said we have a bunch of young guards. Would really depend on if we want some more vet presence who could stabilize us a bit with Tre or if we want to go hard on development of the young guys

We’ll probably just sign Westbrook and BroLo/Plumlee on short term deals and call it a day

Good grief we have to spend 29 mill and that’s what’s left?

Reaves obviously would be huge but I’m sure the Lakers tie us up so we can’t spend then just match at the last minute.

Outside of that I like Lopez, Divicenco, and Plumlee but I am thinking Lopez is out of at least I haven’t heard anything credible saying we’re on his list. I still think end of the day he goes back to the Bucks, you don’t pay Middleton that crazy amount and then let Lopez walk, or at least you shouldn’t when you have championship aspirations next year.

Did Patty Mills sign? Didn’t see it but he might have. I think I’d be okay with way overpaying him at this point for a one year contract so we don’t tie up our space going forward, we get to the floor, and we bring back a good guy.

I think we should throw a $100 million offer at Reaves. Not to get him, but to force LA to use up that cap space on him.

  13. DiskAltruistic539

Reaves with the Spurs would be amazing! Lakers will make sure to keep him though.

We got Wemby, so I’m happy about that. But we honestly suck at FA. 🤣

Give Beverly a 1 year deal. He’s old but this team needs a PG and veteran leadership

I really like our young guys and think we shouldn’t sign anyone that would take playing time away from them. We should target one of the older guys who maybe would be willing to take on a mentorship role for the team and in the locker room.

I know bev and Westbrook probably still want a larger role on a team than the one I’m describing but it would be nice to have one of them to mentor the young guys and give them the edge that they have hopefully.

I’m also an Illinois fan, so I am pretty familiar with Dosumnu. Very competitive, good defender, improving shooter/playmaker. There’s a chance the Bulls don’t match a modest offer.

  17. As many of those bigger wings as possible and trade them later

  18. Gabe-DaBabe

Would love Brook Lopez. Dude has 15 NBA seasons under his belt where he spent half that time being the a focal point for the Nets, transitioned his game to being a role player, and has again created a niche in this league for shooting 3s and defending the paint.

Hed be nothing short of an awesome vet. Immediately we wpuld have a pretty good defense. Between Sochan Wemby and Brook roaming the painted area, thats a great combo for defending the basket.
