The Pelicans were desperate for a rim protector last season and Jax hardly saw the floor because he was such a liability. So how exactly was this such a great signing for the Lakers to improve their roster?? Maybe they just need another athletic tall guy to fill minutes during the 30-40 games that Tony Ruffles will inevitably miss due the injury. Otherwise I don’t really get it.

He called him a rim protector and I almost spat my drink.
Tell me you haven’t seen Jaxson Hayes play without telling me you haven’t seen Jaxson Hayes play.
They *have* to hype up the major markets.
Y’all are putting too many chips into the integrity of a company that let go some of their best analysts to keep view machines. ESPN is a ghost of a shell of a memory of its former self. They are full of shit and pander to the big markets.
It’s funny how hearing the national guys talk about your team tells you how little they really know about everything else.
Bro they do this for the Lakers every year at any point of the year. Mike Malone called the media out for it. Just ignore it. I’m trying to hear what the Pels doing
It’s a great move for them. Adding players who look the part but haven’t really put it together are smart moves when you have LeBron and AD to take the pressure off them. Look at how Rui looked next to them. Cam Reddish and Jaxson Hayes are basically low risk lotto tickets and they don’t even need them to be anything but some solid rotation minutes
