Pretty solid. I think people are underestimating how much a shooter that commands the defense’s respect makes life easier for everybody else, rebounding is still a glaring issue but it’s a problem that is mostly needed to be addressed by Mobley and Allen’s improvement.

Honestly though it just looks like we amped up our bench a little and so far we would probably rotate DMitch and Garland for ball handling duties plus JA and Mobley at the 5 and go 8-9 man deep. I just saw The Lakers got Jaxson Hayes that would’ve been a nice fit but I think we may be done as of now. I hope we’re not but I feel like we are.

People don’t realize they our core 4 is what is important. These dudes just help. They expect us to get a superstar. Koby job should be to get role players and he has done that.

  4. RileySmiley22

Would like a back up big but this helps so much. I feel like people complaining forget how absolutely clogged the paint was against the Knicks and all of us begging for someone on the team to make a 3.

Now get me a big rather by trade or signing

  6. GonnaBeAGoodYear

Cmon Koby time to turn Wade+Rubio into Royce or DFS from the Nets, cook something up

Sam Vecenie gave us an early A+ off season with these signings. Shooting is what we needed, shooting is what we got. Said Niang shot 48% of open catch and shoot 3’s last year, 40% on catch and shoots on 400 attempts lol!

How does this affect our cap space next season with DGs extension coming in? Will we still have the MLE?

  9. Dungong

Netting two rotation players out of this and giving up a couple 2nds is a better outcome than I thought. Caris is on a movable contract and we still have the biannual exception to sign someone.

This is everything that Cavs fans wanted them to do all season, and now that they ACTUALLY WENT AND DID IT people are still complaining. I can’t take this fan base serious.

Is Struss really better than Cedi? The only difference I see is Struss got a much longer leash than Cedi. Also what are. We going to do with all these shooting guards? None of these guys can consistently play SF.

Cavs are getting killed on Sirius NBA radio

  13. cartierjosh

now we need a backup big not named robin lopez

  14. Senior-Trifle9525

We need defense and a big man so trade Ricky for a defensive guard and and pick up a big man

Koby did the following thus far:

Brought back LeVert on team friendly deal ✅

Traded for proven shooter (Strus) ✅

Acquired a proven shooter who can split the difference between Allen/Mobley (Niang) ✅

Acquired a backup center who can run with the guys (Jones) ✅

Have exception money left over and is still $5M under tax level and $12M from hard cap ✅

The Cavs no longer have to hope Dean Wade can over perform or Cedi hits more wide open corner 3s. Allen and Mobley get breathing room. Okoro can actually develop.

Niang and Strus used to piss me off as Cavs opponents because of how good they were shooting. Now they are Cavs. Niang was a former Donovan teammate. Everyone on this team will benefit.

    Koby cooked.
