Is JB just chilling in paris & gonna do it when he comes back ?

Don’t we have to get it done by July 6th? Wtf this makes me think either we are hesitant to offer it to him or that he doesn’t want to be here

$300 million for Jaylen Brown lol

In the unlikely event we got lillard for a package built around Brogdon, timelord and picks, brown hypothetically could end up the 4th best player on the Celtics while being the highest paid player in nba history. That’s funny to think about.

Can someone paste the whole article here pls

It’s crazy how different free agency is than it used to be

KD was July 4th, Hayward was July 4th

LeBron coming back to Cleveland was July 11th

LeBron going to Miami was July 8th

These days if you don’t sign within 24 hours theres something wrong lol

Guys, this is nothing out of the ordinary. These kinds of extensions are usually put on hold while the time-sensitive FA chaos is sorted out first. How many veteran extensions have been announced already? Only Porzingis (Barnes and Vucevic were impending FAs). LeBron, PG, Kawhi, Klay, Siakam, etc. are all extension eligible as well.

To me it seems like free agency is the more urgent matter. They can come back to these talks in a week or two but they need to focus on free agent signings first

Jaylen is a great player but $59 million per year is nuts. It might be the going rate but I can’t see it. For anyone. The CBA is out of whack. If teams are going to pay $60 million a year for stars what’s left for the average player?

It’s simple. If Jaylen refuses to negotiate lower then that horrific 300 million dollar max, trade him for Lillard who is on contract for three years. Get a ring once and for all. Tatum who is trying to recruit Dame understands this.

JB probably reading this subreddit and trolling as he read either trade proposals or how “you will not sign” your extension.
