Cannot trade a guy who has heart but Marcus Smart will do well no matter where he goes because he cares, tries, works hard, and improves his game while holding his own…. I like guys like Smart because they work with their own hands to improve so I'm glad for the man and he'll do well for himself.
I think it's a great trade for all teams. Memphis needs the leadership, the Celtics need the change plus the extra scoring, and Washington gets their cap space.
For kristap you trade a defensive player of the year and a major glue guy for a broken down journeyman. Smfh the Celtics stuck on trying to make another larry bird. They tried with Gordan heyward now this guy not gonna happen. And a little secret Tatum is not that guy overrated asf he’s another Paul George a great number two guy not number one

Celtics got two first round picks with porzingis too. I like this trade all around, but while Morant is out they might miss Jones's point guard abilities a little bit though. Wizards got Jones, galinari, and another player. Smart is a game changer for grizzlies though I believe, if porzingis can stay healthy he'll help Celtics a lot too. Jones will probably put up big numbers for Washington.

I’m a Pacers fan and I know first hand about Malcolm Brogdon being injury prone. As he gets inserted into the starting lineup for the Celtics, Brogdon’s injuries will increase due to his increased roll. He was basically glass when he started for the Pacers. Celtics fans, prepare to get frustrated.
