Cavs may be more open to trading Jarrett Allen than they admit -Sam Amico via Marc Stein

I personally highly doubt this. But Stein is credible in spite of Amico being a hack.

To people saying Amico because they can’t read for some reason:

Chris Fedor June 22nd: https://i.imgur.com/pg35eKV.jpg

Marc Stein: https://i.imgur.com/Es1vd0X.jpg

And THEN Amico directly quotes Stein. He says nothing on his own.

Then followed up by Evan Dammarell: https://i.imgur.com/rfOlv5o.jpg

Please and thank you. Yikes.

Link ain’t working for me. But I also tried to find it on chrome and his whole profile didn’t load

Amico is a joke but Twitter links don’t work anymore

Sorry guys I forgot about Twitters stupid new policy. Here’s a screenshot.

This isn’t just Sam Amico. It’s through Marc Stein and someone else said Fedor has confirmed it.

Jarrett Allen will end up being the litmus test of whose brain was broken the most after the Knicks series. Also of who is the most Bronpilled (i.e. you didn’t exist before 2003).

Makes no sense to trade him unless you are getting a Cam Johnson and above wing talent back. Not happening, so enjoy the dunce cap you’ll be wearing.

Tbh I think they would IF they got a good to great offer, but from what I saw it looks like teams were trying to buy low after his poor performance. I also don’t think the Cavs would trade him for picks – we’d need a player or players back that make us better or at least different

It would be a bit ridiculous if they weren’t listening to offers but there’s no reason to be adament/in a hurry to trade him. I really like Jarrett but there’s a lot of centers on the market who can replicate what he does and if moving him allows the Cavs to bring in a legit piece, they should.

They’ll listen but I doubt they get a quality offer especially after end of last year. His value needs rebuilt a bit

While I’m most likely against an Allen trade, what’s a good, realistic return in a trade?

  10. drealityfreak

Which big should the Cavs target to replace Allen IF they do trade him?

  11. Mobleybetta

Only deal I’d like is Valanciunas and some sort of wing from the Pelicans. You’d have to replace our starting center or start Mobley there which I really don’t want to do.

Can we please stop linking Amico? Like I know this was reported by other people first but link that one instead of Amico. He’s a hack who doesn’t deserve the attention.

I personally think it’s comical that people think that Jarrett Allen has obviously peaked and can’t obviously get any better than how he performed this previous year…

No one and I mean NO ONE was saying trade Jarrett Allen before the Knicks series. He is the heart and soul as to why the Cavs had the #1 defensive rating last year and everyone knows that.

God if we made that much roster overhaul due to one series that we shot extremely poorly after an otherwise great year..

I am all for it. It just depends on what they get back. It be great to get a more skilled big man that could open things up for Mobley.

I would love to pick up a guy like PJ Washington or Mo Bamba. Bigs who could shoot and create space for Mobley.

It be great to get some better shooting bigs to create space for our guards anyways
