  1. shocked jackson-davis fell basically to the second to last pick in the draft, #57 overall

i and others who follow the warriors wouldn't have been shocked if the warriors drafted him at #19 as he was linked to the team for a while

at the very least most had him projected to get drafted maybe in the mid 20s late in the 1st round or at worst early 2nd round possibly in the first 5-10 picks

the only thing jackson-davis going against him other than probably his age at 23 years old is he doesn't have a reliable outside shot as he never attempted a 3 point shot in 3 of his 4 years in college with the exception being when he went 0/3 in his junior season … that's it

but he does everything else well on the court be it rebounding, passing, playing defense, running the floor, just playing smart … he has a high basketball IQ and being the son of a former NBA player who played around 15 years help granted he was raised by his step dad but even still he has the bloodlines

guess it shows you how the NBA in this day and age doesn't value the classic athletic big man who puts up great production in college

in this era if you are a big you need to have an outside 3 point shot … funny that the warriors are the team that drafted him when you could argue it's their style of play over the last decade that has changed the way NBA teams value big men who can stretch the floor now

not say he'll be a star but i definitely see him being a lot more productive in his NBA career than probably at least 3/4 of the players drafted in front of him

jackson-davis plays and basically fits the type of big man that has been successful in this warriors offensive system under kerr since 2014/15 … one who just does the little things on the floor and doesn't demand the ball on offense which was the big issue with somebody like wiseman who being a former #2 pick just didn't want to set picks for curry and be a lob threat … now who knows what wiseman will ultimately be but after that experiment went wrong the last few seasons i think the warriors learned their lesson on what type of big man they target as long as kerr is the head coach and curry is the focal point of the offensive system with golden state

when you go back during this last decade and the big men who actually excelled in this offense … bogut, zaza, mcgee, west, looney … they're not looking to put up 20 pts and 10 reb or being the centerpiece to the team & specifically the offense … in fact i could see jackson-davis being sort of like a more athletic version of looney .. an "undersized" big who plays a lot bigger than he actually is

    looney : 6'8" 224 lbs with a 7'4" wingspan
    jackson-davis : 6'9" 240 lbs with a 7'1" wingspan

  2. Nothing in this Kids Says "Blake Griffin".
these So Called Analysts are ridiculously Lazy and Useless.
He's quicker than Blake and he defends.

  3. Highest BPM in college basketball. Thank you GSW for using mathematics and not tainted human biases.

  4. Just like another kuminga who can't shoot, you wont have success on warriors basketball if you only can play back to the basketšŸ˜…

  5. All these draft will barely be used and after 1 or 2 seasons, they will be traded. I don't know why GSW even bothers to draft anyone these recent years anyway.

  6. Can he play d?? The knock on patrick baldwin jr, jordan poole, ryan rollins (guys that were traded) – THEY CANNOT DEFENDā€¦ā€¦if u can defend at an nba player as a rookie – u will get playing time!!!
