  1. It's stupid the way some fans think. Just because we didn't go after Cam or some other big name doesn't mean Troy purposely sat on his hands and did nothing. Of course Troy wants to upgrade the team, of course he'd love to sign Cam. But why get into a bidding war with Brooklyn when in all likely they would have found a way to match our offer anyway? I'm 100% sure Troy knew Cam wasn't gettable and so he decided to shift gears into something more realistic. We needed a shooter, Brooklyn needed to shed salary, so we took Harris from them, it made sense for both teams.

    On top of that, none one of the other free agents out there were fits nor were they worth the price. Getting Harris and Morris aren't huge upgrades, but they're still upgrades. It gives them two more veterans who are actually productive players. In the end this is Cades teams, the Pistons go as far as he takes them. He needs to develop into a star, he needs to lead us to wins, and the rest of the core needs to develop and help him.
