[Haynes] “The Clippers, the Timberwolves, Pelicans, Boston Celtics, those are the team off the top of my head, I’m pretty sure there were more, those were the teams that I know called out to reach out to see what it would take (to land Lillard).”

Any team that is serious about winning a title next year should inquire about the price. It’d be stupid not to

Dame on the Twolves would be exciting not gonna lie. Portland said they want a star in return and KAT would fit nice next to Grant and with Scoot and Simons. They might even shock ppl

It seems pretty clear that we aren’t interested in trading Zion and would prefer not to trade Ingram so I would count us out.

Interested to see what teams like the Pelicans and the TWolves would offer as a trade package for Lillard.

Dame, Edwards, and Gobert sounds nice. Think Portland will flip KAT instead of keeping him.

    “How much for Dame”

    “A lot”

    “Sorry, I’m out”.

  7. TheRealDevDev

That’s right, send him to Minnesota.

What assets do the Clippers even have to trade for Dame man lol. They have even less to trade than the Heat.

  9. soft-cookie

Ant and Dame together would be such a lethal combo. Would trade Kat for Dame in a heartbeat

CJ and Dame reunited in Nola would be funny, maybe it’d work this time

  11. STATnMELO650

Brown for Dame just makes way too much fuckin sense

  12. confuddly

I’m surprise Philly hasn’t at least asked

When the Heat are offering Tyler Herro and a new pair of socks I think every team will check in

  14. Mellothewise

    Please send him to NO!
CJ+Dame with an up-and-coming wing like Ingram would be fun as heck to watch!!

Really feel like Brad’s gonna try to make this happen.

I’ve been thinking about this for weeks, the Celtics are the best trade partner for a 3 team trade. The framework of:

Celtics get Dame, Jaylen Brown goes to a 3rd team, assets go to Portland.

Lots of teams in the NBA are set at guard and don’t need Dame. Celtics do need Dame, but don’t have assets that Portland would want. Celtics can get out of having to pay JB 60+ mil, get an adult in the room with some dawg in him that can actually lead these guys, and he fits perfectly with what they’re trying to do. Plus, they have fantastic defensive guards like Derrick White who can help hide him on defense. Dame paired with Tatum and Porzingis sounds ridiculous offensively.

I initially framed this with the Knicks as the third team, but this works for a multitude of teams that think they can fit Jaylen Brown into their ecosystem.

Dame would take the Pels to a title contender level. They’re a team that also has pieces that would make a trade viable with the Blazers. New Orleans is a team to watch. Especially if they swap JV’s expiring deal for Nurk’s.

Gonna laugh my ass off if Dame doesn’t get to go anywhere this season. Everyone is reluctant to give anything of value up and also eager to fleece Portland.. not gonna happen! And if it does, I’ll then laugh my ass off if Dame still doesn’t end up winning a chip after.

Out of all these teams Miami’s package is only better than LA’s

Celtics should just do brown for lillard plus a Portland first or simply a straight up swap. Both teams get better.

The only other types of trades that make sense involve the suns moving Ayton to the blazers in a 3 team deal as he’d also fit the blazers roster.

Unless the blazers trade lillard to an average team, I don’t see how a contender gets lillard unless it’s a 3 team deal or Boston outright trades for him.

KAT based on everything we have gleaned since the offseason began basically has no value and the Wolves aren’t willing to trade him for pennies on the dollar and are willing to go into next season and see how their Twin Towers lineup continues to mesh. People forget KAT missed over half the season.

  23. AnEmptyKarst

Man could you see Dame in a small market beside CJ on the court? Wild to think about, can’t imagine it

  24. disc0chimp

I hope the TWolves don’t give up on the Gobert/KAT experiment just yet.

  25. EazyParise

If the Timberwolves land Dame, I am getting a tattoo of Crunch playing the piano and singing AWOOO on my ass. Book it

Pelicans are the big one imo they absolutely have both the picks and young pieces plus CJ to salary match
