Why DILLON BROOKS to the Rockets MIGHT be a GOOD MOVE! | ESPN Houston



Dillon Brooks to the Rockets seems inevitable at this point. All the reports have the Rockets going after Brooks and Fred VanVleet. Is it really the worst thing for Brooks to come here??

    Im cool with all other rumors and even overpaying other buys but I DO NOT WANT ANY PARTS of those two

    Our young guys will tune out Brooks in a heartbeat. It would be good to have a tough guy/respected vet. Dillon Brooks is not respected and is a selfish and inefficient scorer. We certainly don't need more of that on the squad.

    Brooks said he just wants more than the non-taxpayer MLE of 12.4 mil per. For a 27 year old, fresh off making All-Defensive 2nd
    Team, who shot 35.6% on 3.9 C&S attempts I think ~2/32 is pretty good value. Not to mention the value in helping Ime establish a culture of toughness and physicality. I just want him to limit his 3s strictly to C&S attempts and I think heā€™d be a solid signing.

    The only Memphis culture I want Rockets to get is their super cool entrance tunnel dance with all the smokes and neon lights. The way they dance as 1 team is cool af like in the movies.

    Please stop judging Brooks on guarding arguably the šŸ..itā€™s funny how everyone is looking past thatšŸ¤¦šŸ¾bf that series, he was a heck of a role player who backs up his team mate..yes he put his foot in his mouth but it was freaking Lebron..we have no toughness on the team right now but probably Eason,Al P, and KPJ which might be gone.. ima continue to say it I think the best vets we should bring in is VanVleet,D.Brooks,B.LopezšŸ’ÆšŸ˜Š

    If we get Brooks for cheap Iā€™m okay with that signing , FV 40 million year is crazy money , I think he should be @25 mill year

    Stop it. Dillon is useless on offense and he was all about doing more on that end, and it's probably why he got let go by Memphis. This head case is not worth having on the roster.

    If Ime can control Brooks and KPJ, the team will get a quality jump. I'm a bit concerned about how Ime will give the minutes to Amen, FVV and Jalen Green.
    Also i think that the most benefited in this move will be Jalen. You can put a starting five with two defensive dogs with him and one of them can help him with the ball handling
