I like what I saw. He needs experience and only time will do that, but he plays hard..All the cuts, screens, everything was with effort. Welcome to dubnation podzman.

Got to his floater every single time he’s touched the paint or he put the rock right into the dunkers spot for the big man. Stats not telling the whole story, he can hoop. Once that floater starts dropping in and he gets rid of the hesitation on the 3ball 🤌🏿🤌🏿 Passes are as advertised as well btw. Some of these are crazy. Haliburton level of flair lmao

High-energy players like this quickly become fan favorites. There may be some stars in front of him, and yeah Poole was pretty damn good, but Podcast could join the discussion too.

He actually tries on defense. His defense already looks better than Poole. He guarded Murray a few possessions too

He definitely didn’t show up on the stat sheet, but I thought he played well. The floater wasn’t falling and he wasn’t aggressive enough from 3. A few understandable mistakes down the stretch really ensured the loss which isn’t great, but nothing too concerning. He was really setting guys up though. Super composed, made some slick passes.

The concerns about him creating his own separation were on display, but that’s just not really going to be a part of his game. In a motion offense he will get space. He’s crafty enough from floater range and has great touch, so he will still be able to score from all 3 levels.

I came away impressed with his feel and nose for the ball. He’s just going to make plays. He will contribute this year.

Mixed bag but he’s as advertised. Good feel and playmaking. Hustles. Was ok on D. An struggled to create any space off the dribble without a screen. I like him though

I can already imagine him learning under our HOFer vets….

He’s already good, but he’ll be polished and refined. I’m genuinely excited to watch this dude play. He’s one of those guys you can’t let your eyes off of because he’ll be playing both ends of the floor.

Bro is an on-court general like CP3

1 summer league game and we gettin dat chip

Idk about the consistent rim pressure part. High level on-ball playmaking and rebounding, for sure though.

too bad he won’t get any minutes unless he’s really good. this is the worst team for a rookie since last season.

Just your annual reminder that summer league stars very rarely mean direct translation into nba success.

Mac Mcclung vs Kuminga is a good example.

He’s not gonna play a single meaningful game this season.
