Can you give me your opinion on the Thunder seeking out KAT? I think that would be the perfect piece, and assuming health would set this team up for the long hall. If they could build something around Dort Bertans Oladipo and a ton of pics, even if it involved a 3rd team like the Blazers or 76ers. If Dame or Harden went to Minnesota, KAT to OKC, and picks and the rest go to Portland/Philadelphia. Imagine a lineup moving forward of SGA, Giddey, Jalen Williams, Chet and Kat, with Kenny Hustle, Wallace, Dieng,etc as a second unit. As bad as they need floor stretching adding the best shooting big in the league would be a huge get. I also feel like they would be buying low, which is a typical thunder move. Am I missing anything here? Would they be better off trying to keep Dort and include Giddey?
Its pretty simple, people hate greatness. They don't hate good, regular or above average. They hate what is different, unique and especially what is great. Look at all the greats they have the most love but also the most hate. Pretty scary how much hate he has recieved already coming into the league goes to show you his potential greatness level.

Great video! I wouldn't see Chet as a Villain, even other team's fans can like the guy considering how gentle natured and well mannered he is! Can't wait for the season start
JDub was insane. JWil was good. Chet was ok, especially given the circumstances. Dieng, not good. Mann was generally good, but Ihe was a bit of a turnover machine, I think he was one of the guys who got caught a couple times driving, with no plan and ended up with ugly turnovers.

Shackelford was extremely noticeable out there, and mostly positive. He looked far ahead of the others, and really looked like the guys with NBA experience

Keep Tre Mann. Run more plays for him and get rid of everybody else. Patty Mills, Oladipo we don't need. We don't need to hinder his progress as 6th man coming off the bench. I been saying Tre Mann is a beast but he needs more touches. He's a shot creator We can't use him as a spot shooter like we did last year

Re: Chet. Legs looked not totally ready but after the first quarter he moved like Chet. But as you pointed out with Shai and Josh the floor is radically different as they drive, lob or pass out to Chet. Plus, when Cason and when V Micic sub out. One small step for man.Good takes.
Jdub was gonna be jdub same goes for jaywill but what we saw from Chet yesterday was more than impressive he fought through the adversity and didn’t shy away from the moment. All we need is for Mann to hit his shots consistently bc he has the skill set that other nba teams covet after off the bench . Ous shouldn’t be discouraged he didn’t hit the shots but got good looks and played more aggressively than we’re used to seeing. Overall this was such a good watch

Man i think were gonna win 55+ games this year. All those close games last year are gonna break our way this season. I fully expect home court advantage. Call my crazy i dont care. This team is built masterfully

Lets not kid ourselves, one of the reasons Chet has become a "Villian" is because he is a hyped up White-American player. Its certainly not the only reason but its a part. Larry Bird went through it. It happened to Keith VanHorn. We experienced it this yr w/ White-European players like N.Jokic.
JDub has serious Man strength now. That Tre' Mann dunk was unreal! Didnt know he had it in him. My guy Jared Butler was great in first half. Dieng looked smooth & more aggressive but nothing would fall. Still have a lot of hope for Dieng.
One thing I will say is he looks ineffective when jwill was protecting the rim and he was guarding the perimeter. I think he needs to play center only. Samanic beat him off the dribble multiple times and you could just tell the thunder needed his presence down low. Also, I think chet will benefit from being the only big on offense too, because similar to KAT it is more effective to have your creation skills playing the 5 because that’s the advantage you now how have that other teams don’t have the option of
