The media complained about how the mavs would need to get him the whole 5year max to stay. But then switch up and say they need to keep him and can't let him walk. They end up getting a great bargain contract of 3years way under the max and still complaining. Mavs are in great shape, under the cap, and have picked up several players to fill in their holes from last year. Luka will retire a Maverick with rings.
