  1. What? This is a good deal for the Mavs. They didn't pay Kyrie the max. Only committed 3 years to a player that is a flight risk. And they get to keep their full MLE. Win for the Mavs.

They pulled the plug on the season bc they didn't control their destiny anymore. And it was the right decision bc if they even won the rest of their games they would have missed the play ins AND had no draft picks. So no lively, no getting rid of bertans contract, no omax, no Holmes.

  2. A less than max contract on 3 years or less is the best you could possibly hope for. You’re telling me no one else would pay Kyrie, one of the best talents in the league, $80 mil over 2 seasons? Get real

  3. wow, you guys are clueless, that was a great deal for a 50-40-90 guy, and he will fit in fine with Dallas….lakers trash they literally signed a bunch of nobodies, so glad you couldn't get kyrie, but had Kyrie gone to Lakers for this contract you would be praising how awesome it would be…stfu losers.

  4. 2:10 Luka called kyrie and told him they need him in Dallas. Wtf are y’all talking about. Just hating to hate

  5. Effing Fred VanVleet was paid more than Kyrie… and Bruce Brown got 45 mio for two years totaly out of Mavs reach… C'mon guys your whole take is just full of 💩

  6. The media complained about how the mavs would need to get him the whole 5year max to stay. But then switch up and say they need to keep him and can't let him walk. They end up getting a great bargain contract of 3years way under the max and still complaining. It's true what nba players say, it's the media that hate him just cause he doesn't agree with their agenda. Doesn't matter anymore, the media will forever hate him

  7. The dude on the left is straight-up clueless. Dwight Powell's contract is up. McGee's contract was a risk, but he's only making under $6 Mil/yr for the next 2 years. Mavs are in great shape, under the cap, and have picked up several players to fill in their holes from last year. Luka will retire a Maverick with rings.
