Heat fans think Dame is gonna sit out a year if we don’t trade him right away.

Why would dame sitting out the year hurt the blazers? If Miami moves on, dame will relent and other teams will throw in their chips, if Miami doesn’t they draft another player that can come to Portland while getting more available picks from the end of miamis title window?

My favorite is “you won’t get marquee free agents” which thankfully everyone who isn’t a fan of a big market team dunked on instantly.
To be clear it’s not just a Blazers issue- it’s not like Minnesota, OKC, Indiana, etc are getting free agents either I mean hell the ultimate proof of this is San Antonio- who on paper are basically “Heat Culture” but still couldn’t get many big Free Agents even in the midst of a dynasty.
