I like Woody, but FOH with that Bruce talk. I would have felt horrible if he turned down a $45 mil/2 year contract for a $14-15 mil/2 year here. Especially if he got injured or we lost. Dude HAD to take that, it was nearly double what people were projecting he’d get

Woody Paige has been my least favorite Denver sports journalist for several years now.

Bruce got his bag as he should and I’m so happy for him. Thank you to Bruce and Jeff for a championship run I’ll never forget!

I’m scared to click. Is it more woody Paige garbage or worth reading?

Nobody should be upset or mad about Bruce going to Indiana. Dude came here, helped us win a Title, which I might add nobody thought the Denver Nuggets would ever do and then he got offered a deal of a lifetime. Majority of professional athletes don’t even get the chance to sign a generational wealth contract like that. Even fewer get to do it twice. He was offered a literal once in a lifetime opportunity to set his family up for the future and he jumped at it. I dare any of you to say you wouldn’t.

Should he have said “money isn’t everything?” I don’t even blame him for that. He had the best moment of his professional career here and it’s so tempting to want to capture that moment again and I truly believe he loves this city and it’s fanbase not to mention the Nuggets organization altogether. If he doesn’t get offered $45M I believe he stays, but again generational wealth.
